Farming Means Jobs

The author recognizes the domino effect that farming has in the state's economy. A healthy farming industry means jobs throughout our state, both on and off the farm. We have long called for increased storage as part of the solution leading to a secure water future for California. That storage includes both surface and below ground in water banks. In addition, we recognize that increased water use efficiency and conservation will also play a role.
