Don't change the subject to municipal pollution farmer2 and ieatfood. You both know that the increased water diversions has made all the farm runoff pollution worse and exacerbates water quality problems in all the CV rivers and wetlands.
But explain to me why Sandridge Partners should be able t sell the publics waters at an obscene profit of over $70 Milllion? Water from the CVP that is subsidized by taxpayers to grow crops supposedly and is sold to the Mojave Water District. Why should that "farmer" profift fro water that tax dollars delivered to them at great expense and at much harm to fisheries that should be supporting thousands of salmoon related jobs? Jobs that will be lost again for the third year in a row? Why should a wealthy farmer like Resnick and Paramount Farms get any tax subsidies from people struggling to make a living and pay their taxes every year?
Can you justify or explain that? Maybe Nunes PR people can spin that too?
